No one can go back and make a brand new start, my friend, but anyone can start from here and make a brand new end !! This brings to my mind another poem that I think of often:
You cannot changes yesterday,
that is quite clear.
Nor begin on tomorrow
until it is here.
So all that is left, for you and for me,
is to make today the best that can be.
