WINTER SUNSET

As though reluctant to retire

And yield her reign to eventide,

The setting sun turns into fire,

and tints the country side.

Then as she slowly sinks from sight,

She calmly calls the earth to rest

And gently tucks into the west

The coverlet of night.

Good morning Dear Grandma B,
Marie is coming to the states to watch her daughter compete in the Special Olympics in Idaho. Knowing what a good blog friend she is my hubby is willing to let me join her. She will fly into SLC, spend a couple of nights with my family and then the two of us will drive to Idaho.. (I hope the roads are clear because this CA girl does not know how to drive on icy roads... besides John usually drives when we are away from home so this is an adventure for me.)

We will be having a family night and inviting Marie's friends on Monday Feb 9th at my daughter's house who lives about 20 minutes north of SLC. If you would like to join us let me know. I would love to meet you too.

I just hope that I can get to feeling better. Thanks for your prayers and best wishes for me.

Have a good day. Love, Lura
